On Saturday 28 October 2017 eight intrepid explorers (and a dog) set out on the inaugural choir ramble.
Led by Karen we set off from the Lions of Bledlow with a 5 mile route planned. There were bridges to navigate and stiles of varying qualities. These ended up being rated on a scale of 1 to 5 with points being awarded for height, hand support and whether our four legged friend could get through. The one pictured below right was the trickiest and seemed to be missing the fundamental step!
It was a lovely Autumnal day and the sun was shining. We even managed to time it so a train went past just as we reached the railway line. The hills were looming upon us but thankfully I was reassured we would not be climbing right to the top and instead our route only involved a very short and gentle incline to the Ridgeway.
With leaves underfoot we crunched our way back to the pub for a well-earned lunch. If you missed the ramble this time do express your interest and we will organise another one. Thanks Karen for a lovely ramble.
