From time to time the choir arrange workshops to focus on a specific piece. The most recent one was on 7th September 2017 when John Gibbons led a workshop focusing on Carmina Burana. The venue was Long Crendon Baptist Church and much cake was consumed!
As well as performing in Thame the choir has been “on tour”. One of the earliest destinations was Paris in 1994 and we returned to Montesson – a Paris suburb – in 2003.
Other trips have been toTruro, Lille, Ghent and most recently (May 2015) Haarlem in Holland. These trips have been a welcome mixture of music and socialising.
Even further afield, some of our members travelled to New York in 2010 to take part in a Karl Jenkins concert at Carnegie Hall.
